Roman Coin Necklace Solid Gold

Suspended from an oxidised sterling silver rollo chain, is an authentic, one-of-a-kind antique coin. Two vintage coral beads flank the bezel of this two-toned necklace.

Likely made of bronze with a natural patina, Coin No. 1377 features the bust of a Roman emperor wearing a laurel wreath. The presence of a figure holding a cornucopia on the reverse side, suggests it is likely a Sestertius or Dupondius coin from the 2nd to 3rd century CE.
